Excellent article, so many people get so tangled into details that they neglect the big picture.
PS. Why are deads not included in the worthwhile exercises? In my opinion they are to squats what upper body pulls are to pushes, and although many of the objectives can be achieved with squat variations especially unilateral ones I would never design a program (especially a long term one) that does not include some variation of dead-lift.

Thanks and sorry, I think I meant to include deads with O-lifts, but in any event, they are certainly a premier exercise and should be included- in addition to being tremendously beneficial, they can be performed in a wide number of ways, fulfilling the criteria for this article
